In the summer of 2008 I had to take down 2/3 of the Stu's layout to put a new fuel tank behind the corner of the layout. We decided to raise the layout from 36" high to 56" high. We also decided to replace all of the rusty tubular rail, O32 curves and O32 switches with Atlas track, 072 inch switches and 054 curves. We also added a layer of 1/2" plywood to the top of the modules to replace all of the added small pieces held on with angle brackets. Aaron used the Atlas track planner to make up the new layout. We also replaced the farm over one of the return loops with a loop of On 30 track and some sidings.
